About

I'm Alex, the guy who's probably popped up in your life one way or another.

Have we met before?

Maybe you’ve seen me passionately talking at a tech conference, or you’ve got my book,System Programming Essentials with Go. Or perhaps you’re one of the brave souls who's clicked 'Subscribe' on my YouTube channel, hoping to demystify the realms of Go, Zig, tech leadership and all the good stuff.

But let’s be real — some of you might recognize me from less glamorous circumstances. Maybe you caught me tripping over arial 11 fonts in slides at a tech conferences, or witnessed my epic fail trying to debug live on stage. Or perhaps you overheard me ranting about memory management in line at the coffee shop. If none of these ring a bell, well, you’re lucky, welcome!

I’ve worn many hats over the years, but currently, I'm a Senior Staff Engineer at Stone Co. When I'm not coding or writing, you’ll find me inventing new strategies for engineering teams, diving into the nitty-gritty details of classic designs, or just trying to make developer experience a little less painful for everyone.

This blog is where I share insights, stories, and the occasional tech rant. It’s a mix of serious tech talk and light-hearted musings, much like a good coffee chat with a sprinkle of code.
